Andrzej Wilczyński, B.Eng., Ph.D.

Andrzej Wilczyński is an experienced computer scientist with a deep passion for the field. His journey in computer science began when he moved from his family village to Cracow in 2009 to pursue an undergraduate course in Computer Science at Cracow University of Technology. Seeking further knowledge and experience, he embarked on a six-month course at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Upon his return to Poland, Andrzej successfully defended his BEng thesis and later earned his MEng degree with honors in 2015.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to contribute to the field, Andrzej pursued doctoral studies at AGH University of Science and Technology. In 2020, he proudly obtained his PhD degree in the field of engineering and technology, specializing in information and communication technology.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Cracow University of Technology, Andrzej focuses his research on blockchain-based modelling in distributed computing, cloud computing with an emphasis on data and resource virtualization, tasks scheduling in cloud computing, and security within these domains.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Andrzej is the founder of his own company, madeCode Andrzej Wilczyński, which provides comprehensive IT services, including consulting, software design, and development for commercial companies.

Furthermore, Andrzej holds the role of Process & Product OPS Manager at Inpost, where he spearheads the development and implementation of global technology processes. Collaborating closely with international business partners, he ensures the seamless operation of tech services.

With a wealth of expertise in computer science, research, and industry, Andrzej Wilczyński is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technological innovation and delivering outstanding solutions in the ever-evolving world of IT.
